Instructions for Submission
This page allows birders to connect with each other to see what birds are being reported across the region. Birders can submit their checklists of the birds that they saw at a particular location on a certain day. Checklists will only be accepted for locations in northwest Pennsylvania (Butler, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Venango, & Warren counties). To submit a checklist, first click on the "Bird Checklist" tab, and fill out the chart with the number of each species you saw at that location. If a species that you saw is not on the list, then it is either a rarity or out of season. Those species will need either a photo you took or a description of the bird and the habitat it was in. Once you have finished filling out the chart, click on the "Submit Your Checklist" tab and email me your checklist. I will then upload your sightings onto the website. I upload new checklists at least once a day. If you do not end up seeing your checklist on the website or if there is an error, email me and I will be sure to fix it.
